Cartridges
Platform Kinetics have design and manufactured many cartridge based solutions for a wide range of applications, from low-cost, single use through to deployed unmanned systems.
We are able to design both microfluidic and macrofluidic style cartridges. For microfluidic technologies we work with one of our production partners, however, for scales of 1mm plus dimensions we manufacture these in-house.
We use CAD/CAM and use a wide range of materials and techniques. The materials commonly used are generally polymer based or elastometer, such as PDMS. Techniques range from 3D printed, machined, cast or injection moulded.
Further to the cartridge manufacture we are able to integrate components within the cartridge, such as heaters, electrodes, sensors, pumps and valves.
